Shane
Shane was brought up in Sligo a small town in the North West of Ireland. He has always loved horses and has been riding them most of his life. He has always loved to perform and at the age of four he made his own microphone. He also was passionate about rugby and kickboxing. And at one stage he had to decide what was more important to him playing rugby for Ireland or Westlife. He realized he might be hurt playing rugby so he chose Westlife. He has only had one serious girlfriend and he first kissed a girl at the age of 11 and he says "It'll be one I'll never forgot" Shane is said to be a very good actor and he always got parts in local musicals. While he was at school he had to get Math Grinds off his sister. He idolized Michael Jackson and loved the 'Bad Album' He also loves Boyzone. His two favorite actresses are Cameron Diaz and Catherine Zeta Jones. His best mate in Westlife is Nicky, and he and all the Westlife lads love an Irish Breakfast. Shane is quite lazy in the morning and Westlife's Tour manager Anto Byrne finds it difficult to wake him up. He is a daydreamer. Shane is drop dead gorgeous and he is a fabulous vocalist.
Kian
Kian was again brought up in Sligo. He loves music and always has done. He can play piano and guitar plus he could pick up any sort of instrument and play it if he wanted. As a child he was big into Rock Music and a few years ago. He thought it was stupid that Mark and Shane wanted to be in a boyband. He also got parts in musicals like Shane. The first trophy he won was for reciting a poem called Vespers at the age of four. He first fell in love at the age of fifteen with a girl called Sonia. They were together for a year and a half, and when they broke up Kian was heart broken. Even after the break up he cried every night for a couple of months.
His two favorite songs on the 'Westlife' Album are Moments and Flying Without Wings'. He is a blonde bombshell with blue eyes with a sexy Sligo accent. He is a good singer and he knows how to have a good time. If you want romance in your life then it's Kian that you want but KIAN IS NOT
THE ROMEO OF WESTLIFE.
Mark
Just like Shane and Kian, Mark comes from Sligo. He is quiet and shy. He is easily distracted and he like Shane is a daydreamer. He can not go to sleep without a distraction, i.e. the television on or music playing in the back round. He loved tennis as a child and would of tried to be a professional player if it wasn't for the fees of his coaching and for traveling a few hundred miles up to Dublin every other weekend. He has never had a serious girlfriend and had his first kiss at the age of 13. When he was younger he loved the film 'Grease' and like Shane and Kian he always ended up getting one of the lead roles in musicals in Sligo.
His best friend is Rowan. He is terrified of birds. As I've said he is quite quiet and when you first meet him he is really shy. But as soon as you get to know him he comes out of his shell. He loves the Equinox{Night Club} in Sligo for a good night out. He and Shane are the two best singers in Westlife. He has big beautiful blue that are simply to die for and the good looks to go with them.
Nicky
Nicky comes from Dublin. I personally think he is another Ronan Keating. He talks like him, acts like him, looks like him and even sings like him. NICKY IS ANOTHER RONAN. He is very close to his family, and as a child if he came home from school and his mum was out he would cry uncontrollably. He is easily worried about everything and anything. He has had a girlfriend for over 5yrs her name is Georgina Ahern. He is a real romantic type of guy. Nicky's only love, as a child was football, football and more football. He played for a famous football school in Ireland called Home Farm when he was younger. He played for Home Farm for about eight years, and when he was sixteen he went over to Leeds and played for Leeds United as a goalkeeper.
He is too small to be a professional goalkeeper as he is only 5'10'' so he was dropped off the team. He came back to Ireland and repeated his final exams. {Leaving Cert the Irish equivalent to GCSE's} After that he was going to go into the Irish Police Force before he started karoking and met Bryan, then he auditioned for Westlife and since then has been in the best boyband in the universe. Nicky is blonde baby cute little boy, who is very lovable and very romantic {Pity he has a girlfriend}
Bryan
Bryan was a stout child and was always called 'Fat Boy' 'Fatso' or something of that sort. He was constantly hassled in school and when he came home from the promotional tour of 'Swear It Again' he could not of been prouder of himself as he seemed to get the most screams at the Boyzone Tour. He Bryan McFadden from a few years ago having not one girl look at him or admire him instantly had thousand of teenage screaming fans loving and admiring him. Why shouldn't he be proud of himself, he wasn't big headed.
He didn't first kiss a girl until he was 17 {that is nearly 3 years ago}
He went to a famous stage school {called the Billy Barry Stage School} in Ireland for 13 years ago. He says, "13 of the best years of my life were there ". His best mate is called Eddie. His best mate in Westlife is Nicky {Gosh! he one of the popular 'Lifers} He has a lovable personality and will always have you in fits of laughing in interviews. Again like Kian he is a blonde bombshell with a sound personality and he of course is a brilliant singer.
